Postpartum Doula Services

The time right after your baby is born is a special time. It is filled with the wonder of getting to know this tiny new person, but there are also the challenges of recovering from birth and learning how to parent. Most traditional cultures developed traditions and rituals surrounding this sacred time. One of the most important customs was the presence of an experienced caretaker to see to the needs of the new mother and help her learn her own ways of mothering. My postpartum services are designed to bring some of these traditional practices into your modern life so you can have more peace and joy after your baby's birth.

 Postpartum Doula Package
My signature postpartum doula package offers multilayered support for the weeks following your baby's birth. It includes the following:
  • A free consultation to decide if I am the doula for you
  • 1 in-person home visit to assess your needs and desires for your postpartum time
  • In-person postpartum visits. Postpartum visits may include but are not limited to: feeding support, newborn care, sibling care, light housework, meal preparation, running errands, and more.
  • Access to my lending library of books and DVDs
  • Email, text, and phone support from the date of the hire until the end of your contract​
  • For your postpartum visits, I offer flexible scheduling to meet your needs. I am only offering daytime support at this time.
  • Hourly rate:
    • Singleton: $40/hour (20 hour minimum)
    • Twins/Multiples: $45/hour (20 hour minimum)
    • Just want one postpartum visit? Book one 4 hour visit for $180!
    • Discounts available for contracts of 100 hours or more

Virtual Postpartum Doula Package

My virtual package might be a great fit for you if you are looking for education and emotional support during the postpartum period but do not need the physical presence of a doula. Virtual postpartum services are also beneficial for families who do not live in my service area. My virtual postpartum doula package includes:
  • A free video consultation to decide if I am the doula for you
  • 1 video call during pregnancy to assess your needs and desires for your postpartum time (1 hour)
  • Weekly video calls. These calls are to answer questions and provide information on newborn care, breast and bottlefeeding, postpartum recovery, infant sleep, babywearing, boundaries with family, and anything else on your mind! (1 hour each)
  • Email, text, and phone support from the date of the hire until the end of your package
  • Package 1: 3 weeks of support $200
  • Package 2: 6 weeks of support $350
  • Package 3: 12 weeks of support $650​​
  • Just want one virtual postpartum session? You can purchase individual 1 hour video calls for $60 each.
